Due to the way calls and audio are handled within the XDA Mini S / I-Mate K-jam / Qtek 9100, the cradle has a switch on the base so that when used with the car kit it supports full radio muting during a voice call, but if available, still allows GPS navigation commands to be heard through the speaker system.
